I love watching comedy movies. Especially the ones that have Jessica Biel in them! There aren’t too many of those, but there is one coming up! It’s called Easy Virtue and it has Jessical Biel playing a very funny role indeed! If you’ve seen the trailers for this movie, you’ll understand why I’m so anxious to see this one!
This movie takes place right after the roaring twenties, and the thirties have only just begun. John Whittaker is an English guy who meets the very lovely American girl Larita. They fall passionately in love with each other and without giving it much thought, they get married right away!
The couple returns home to the Whittaker family, where Mrs. Whittaker, John’s mother, is not too happy about seeing what her son has brought home with him. Mrs. Whittaker and Larita don’t get along at all, because Mrs. Whittaker doesn’t want Larita in the family.
Larita and Mrs. Whittaker have a big battle of wits going on, from the beginning of the movie all the way up to the end. Mrs. Whittaker constantly attacks Larita, only to get back sassy comebacks from her. Larita remains frustratingly calm and Mrs. Whittaker can’t stand it. Eventually, Mrs. Whittaker manages to manipulate John in such a way that the relationship in in serious danger.
The movie features Jessica Biel as Larita, the sexy young woman who takes the Whittaker family by surprise. Jessica Biel alone makes me want to watch Easy Virtue for free online. Then there are Colin Firth as the war weary head of the household Mr. Whittaker, Kristin Scott Thomas as the neurotic wife Mrs. Whittaker, and Ben Barnes as Larita’s husband, John Whittaker.
The movie Easy Virtue will be released on May 22nd, 2009 in cinemas all over the world. The movie has gotten a PG-13 rating because it contains smoking, partial nudity and sexual content. This makes the movie slightly more naughty than you are perhaps used to when it comes to romantic comedies. All the more reason to see it!
